Term: No term limits for admin positions EXCEPT for the Owner admin.

Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain the "Partners" community page
Coordinate off-campus venue reservations
Support Bobcat Admins in student-facing initiatives
Elected from the Bobcat population.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage student funding allocation and vote on spending
Maintain the official MSU roster on CatsConnect
Track and encourage Bobcat member volunteer hours
Serve as "Vice President" or "Treasurer" on the MSU roster
Host the weekly study group
Coordinate on-campus venue reservations
Ensure student funds are allocated to Bobcat-focused events and initiatives
Elected from the Bobcat population and must be physically living in Gallatin County.
The Owner is the primary administrator responsible for organizational continuity and university compliance.
Term Limits:
Maximum of two consecutive years
After serving two terms, must wait one full year before re-election
Must know they will be a student the entire term.
Additional Responsibilities:
Own and host official group communication channels (Discord, Telegram, etc.)
Submit all required RSO paperwork to CatsConnect per MSU requirements
Serve as "President" on CatsConnect for the student organization
There can only be one Owner at a time
Support roles assist general admins without the same level of commitment, responsibility, or authority. Here are some key differences:
Cannot enforce community rules and moderate spaces
Cannot vote on admin-level decisions
Cannot process new member applications
Elected from the Bobcats or Pals population.
Temporary admins are appointed by admin vote for specific, time-limited purposes.
Recognized volunteers from the Bobcats or Pals population.
Helpers are members who provide ongoing support to admins with day-to-day operations and community management, without the full commitment or decision-making authority of a full admin role.
Eligibility:
Appointed by majority admin vote
Must be publicly announced to the community with:
Name of the temporary admin
Specific task or purpose
Powers granted (e.g., "can post events but not moderate")
Term end date
Term Limits:
Maximum of 1 month
Must be revoted on and reannouced to have another term
Additional Responsibilities:
Determined by admin vote
Eligibility:
Must be a Pal or Bobcat in good standing
Invited into role by an Admin
Term Limits:
None - as long as a member is willing
May step down at anytime
Additional Responsibilities:
Determined by admins on a case by case basis (E.g., help set up venue for an event, discuss new rules or ideas, help reach out to new members or put up posters on campus)
Nomination Period:
The week before spring break (Monday-Friday)
Any member except Invited members may self-nominate
Must nominate for a role they're eligible for
Voting Period:
The week of spring break (Monday-Friday)
Community vote (all Pals and Bobcats eligible to vote)
1 Owner admin, 2 Bobcat admin, and 2 Pal admin will be elected
Majority vote for each role wins
Transition Period:
The Monday after spring break until the Monday after Graduation
Newly Elected admin will be trained during this period and have access to the admin chat.
At the end of this period, Outgoing admin will transfer all power to the New admin and leave the admin chats.
All members must complete the census to maintain their membership.
The census will be open for one week in March
Members who do not complete the census will be removed from community chats.
Removed members are welcome to request to rejoin at any time.
The census helps keep the community updated and reduce inactive members. It is also required to provide an accurate student roster for MSU
